  • BEFORE SIGNING UP
    Yordrobe is free to download and free to list items for sale or swap. We do however take a small commission of your sale once the item sells and a swap fee on successful swaps. For drop items please see our drop T’s&C’s. Please also note that by using Yordrobe from your mobile device, you will be responsible for any fees associated with internet usage and/or text messaging as determined by your mobile service provider.
  • AGE LIMIT
    If you are old enough to have a Facebook account, then you are old enough to become a Yordrobe member. However, you must be 18 years or older to SELL, SHOP, SWAP or DROP items on Yordrobe.
  • CREATE AN ACCOUNT
    Creating a Yordrobe account can be done with either your Facebook profile or an active email address. When creating a password, remember it should be easy for you to remember but hard for someone else to figure out. For extra security, your password should be different to your email and bank account passwords.
  • CONFIRM EMAIL ADDRESS
    When you sign up to Yordrobe using your email address, you need to confirm that you own that address. This ensures that we’re sending your account information to the right place. When you sign up, we’ll send you an email with a link for you to verify your email address – simply follow that link. If you don’t see our email in your inbox, don’t forget to check your junk and spam folders as it may have ended up in there. If you accidentally signed up with the wrong email address and need to change it please get in touch with us at support@yordrobe.com.au.
  • LOGIN BASICS
    Download the App from the App Store. Once the App is opened, you’ll be presented with two options on the home screen. If you haven’t signed up to Yordrobe yet, press the “REGISTER” button and sign up with either your Facebook profile or your email address. If you already have a Yordrobe account, press the “SIGN IN” button and either press the “LOGIN WITH FACEBOOK” button (if you created your account with Facebook) or with the username and password that you selected on sign up. If you suspect that your account has been hacked, please email us at support@yordrobe.com.au straight away.
  • BUGS AND ISSUES
    If you are experiencing any difficulty logging in or creating an account, contact us and report a problem and we’ll help to resolve it. We’re always working to improve the Yordrobe App and add the features that our users are requesting, so don’t hesitate to contact us if something is wrong or there is something that you would like to see in the App. Thanks for taking the time to help us improve Yordrobe.
  • YOUR WARDROBE

  • EDITING YOUR WARDROBE
    To upload an item to sell, press the camera button at the bottom of the App → press SELL → follow the sell process. To upload and item for swap, press the camera button at the bottom of the App → press SWAP → follow the swap process. To upload and item for drop, press the camera button at the bottom of the App → press DROP → follow the drop process. To create a new wardrobe section, press on the + button on your profile screen and enter the name of the new section. Sectioning your wardrobe makes it easy to organise all of your items i.e. you can create a “shoes” section and put all of your shoe items in there. To see the items that you have in any of your wardrobe sections, simply touch that wardrobe section on your profile page and a list of items will be shown. From here, you can edit any of those items (or move them to another section) and you can also edit the section itself by either renaming it or deleting it all together. Please note that if you delete a wardrobe section that has items in it, you will also delete those items from your wardrobe. Once sections and/or items are deleted, they are gone forever.
  • MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT
    You can manage your account by pressing the Settings button on your profile screen. From here, you can edit your profile information, manage your notification settings and check the status or your purchased, swapped and sold items. You can also deactivate your Yordrobe account if for some reason you no longer wish to use Yordrobe. If you deactivate your account, your profile (including any items that you have in your wardrobe) will become invisible to all other Yordrobe users. We will still keep your profile details on record in case you want your account activated again at some later time. If you do, please contact us at support@yordrobe.com.au and let us know. If you don’t think you will use Yordrobe ever again, you can request to have it permanently deleted. Note that once your account is permanently deleted, it will be gone forever. If you have general feedback or are experiencing any technical difficulties, we want to hear from you. To give feedback, press the Feedback option in your profile settings menu. You can also use this Feedback screen to to request that a specific brand of clothing be added to Yordrobe.

  • HOW TO CONNECT
    Connecting with other Yordrobe users is the best way to gain exposure for your wardrobe. It also allows you to more easily find the items of clothing that suit your style. You can use the search facilities in the App to find and follow your friends. If you don’t see some of your friends on Yordrobe yet, why not invite them to join up? The settings button on your profile screen will present you with two options for inviting friends – either by posting a message to your Facebook timeline or by sending an invitation to your friends’ email address. You can also gain more followers in other ways such as word of mouth, commenting on items in the App and tagging other users using the @ symbol (e.g. @sarah) – this will notify them to look at that item.

    View your purchases under your Profile → Settings → My Purchases. View your swapped items under your Profile → Settings → My Swaps. View your sold items under your Profile → Settings → My Sold Items.

    When uploading an item to ‘SELL’, you have the option to offer Standard, Express or Free shipping. We offer a ‘Shipping Cost Guide’ based on figures from Australia Post. This is a guide only and is provided to allow you to specify reasonably accurate postage costs for your items. Once your item has been sold, we will provide you with the shipping details of the buyer via email. To ship the item, simply visit your local post office with your buyer’s details and post the item according to the agreed shipping method. Our aim is to create a reliable and fast shopping experience for all of our users. Therefore, Yordrobe’s Terms and Conditions state that you must post the item within 48 business hours of it being sold. Failing to do so will likely result in bad ratings from your buyers and possible termination from Yordrobe. If for some reason you are not able to post your item within this time frame, please let the buyer know straight away so that they know when to expect to receive it.

  • MANAGE YOUR REWARDS
    You can earn $20 in credit for telling your friends about Yordrobe. YOU’RE WELCOME! Located under Profile → Settings → Earn $20 Credit, you can enter the email addresses of all the friends that you would like to invite. When each of those friends signs up to Yordrobe using the email address you invited them with, and places their first order with us with a minimum spend of $50, you will receive a $20 credit. On top of that, your friend will also receive $20 credit when they sign up using that same email address. You can see your rewards balance at any time under Profile → Settings → Balance. Once you have earned credit you will have to option to use it on checkout of a purchase. Yordrobe reserves the right to discontinue the rewards scheme at any time without prior notice to users.
